Cancellation and Refund Policy for TailorsBoat

At TailorsBoat, we aim to provide a smooth and satisfactory experience for both our customers and vendors. Please read the following policy carefully to understand our procedures regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

A. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

  • Before Order Processing: Customers can cancel their order anytime before the vendor processes the order. To cancel, log into your TailorsBoat account, go to your order history, and select the order you wish to cancel.
  • After Order Processing: Once an order has been processed or shipped by the vendor, it can no longer be canceled by the customer. You may still be eligible for a return or refund depending on the vendor’s return policy (see Section 2).

B. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

  • Vendors may cancel an order if they are unable to fulfill it due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the customer will be notified, and a full refund will be issued promptly.

2. Refund Policy

A. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only eligible under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If the product is delivered damaged or defective, you may request a refund.
  • Incorrect Item: If the vendor sends the wrong product, customers can request a refund or replacement.
  • Non-Delivery: If the product is not delivered within the vendor’s specified time frame, customers may be eligible for a refund.

Refund eligibility is subject to each vendor’s policy, which can be found on their storefront or product page. Customers are encouraged to review the vendor’s policy before making a purchase.

B. Conditions for Refunds
To be eligible for a refund, you must:

  • Submit a refund request within the vendor’s specified return window (typically 7-14 days from the date of delivery).
  • Ensure the item is in its original condition, with all tags, packaging, and accessories included (if applicable).
  • Provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) and photographic evidence of any damages or defects.

C. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Items marked as “Final Sale”
  • Digital products, services, or gift cards

3. Refund Process

  • Refund Request: To request a refund, log into your TailorsBoat account, go to your order history, select the order in question, and follow the refund request steps. You may also contact the vendor directly through the platform.
  • Refund Approval: Once the vendor receives and inspects the returned product, you will be notified of the refund approval or rejection.
  • Refund Time Frame: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

4. Exchanges

  • Exchange Requests: Some vendors may allow exchanges for incorrect sizes or items. Please refer to the vendor’s exchange policy on the product page.
  • Exchange Process: If eligible, you may initiate an exchange by contacting the vendor through the TailorsBoat platform or following the exchange instructions in your account order history.

5. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Customer Responsibility: In most cases, the customer will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect or defective.
  • Vendor Responsibility: If the return is due to a vendor error (incorrect item or damaged product), the vendor will cover the return shipping costs.

6. Non-Compliance with the Policy

Failure to comply with this Cancellation and Refund Policy or any of the specified conditions may result in the rejection of your refund or exchange request.
